BMS to deploy Schrödinger's AI co-scientist across its research organization
The agreement expands an existing partnership to include Bunsen, which plans and runs molecular discovery workflows using Schrödinger's physics-based tools. BMS scientists will help develop new functionality, and the collaboration also covers RetroSynth, Schrödinger's synthesis-planning platform. Financial terms were not disclosed.
QuantHealth raises $45 million to expand AI clinical trial simulation
The Series B will fund new models, hiring and products spanning trial design through commercial planning. QuantHealth says it has simulated more than 600 trials across 30 indications, with predictive accuracy of up to 90%. It plans to expand to more than 40 indications across oncology, cardiometabolic disease and inflammation. The accuracy figure is company-reported.
Dash Bio raises $30 million to expand automated preclinical bioanalysis
The Series A brings total funding to $47.5 million and will support laboratory capacity, additional assays and commercial operations. Dash combines robotics and proprietary lab software with standardized workflows in a GLP laboratory. The company says it returns preclinical bioanalysis results in days rather than months, with fixed pricing.
Phylo partners with Chugai to deploy Biomni Lab for drug discovery
The platform will connect AI agents to Chugai's proprietary research data within its secure environment. It supports single-cell analysis, human genetics, disease biology and target evaluation. Chugai's scientists were early users of Phylo's open-source Biomni release; the company now joins the founding customers working with the full Biomni Lab platform.
Genentech advances a Recursion neuroscience target into early drug discovery
Exercising a Validated Target Option moves the target into a joint small molecule discovery program. It emerged from a whole-genome CRISPR knockout map of neurons derived from induced pluripotent stem cells. Recursion and Genentech jointly validated candidates through pathway, functional and disease studies. The target remains in early discovery, well short of clinical testing.
